  PHP-Nuke News for 2006

Announces Hi nukers! Happy new year 2006 to all you! I'm glad to announce that there is a new section on the site called ADS by PIXELS with a new advertising system that's taking its place on the internet. Take a look at the page to see what all this means. I invite all you modules/addons and themes developers to have ads on that section. Pixel Ads is a way I found to finnance the PHP-Nuke Development Center, which should be physical infrastructure to locate PHP-Nuke's head quarters. This center will be located at the city of Bucaramanga, Colombia where I'll be moving this year with my whole family. The idea is to use all the incomes from this service to finnance and maintain the center. This will require a considerable investment in the building, equipments and personel. I think this experience will be exciting and the goal is to have this created and launched on this year.

In the next months I'll be a little busy moving to Colombia and this will demand lot of time. Hope that before May 2006 I'll be ready starting a new life. In the meantime I already made some movements to launch PHP-Nuke 8.0 soon (no estimate date yet, but soon).

There are people working on several big modules (surprise!) and there will be nice changes on the system that will put PHP-Nuke in the next level.

I already have the road map for next months and there will be very innovative stuff added. So, this year looks very promising and some nice projects will emerge in the near future.

Be nice and honest! and receive my best wishes for this new year!
